Coaching Testimonials

Real stories from the women I work with

1. What was life like before you started to have coaching with me?

I was feeling like something was not right. I was exhausted but I kept going until I could not take it anymore. I did not enjoy my life and my work anymore. I was angry and tired all the time and everything started to become like a toll on my family.

2. What is life now?

I quit my job, closed my company and I am taking time off. Ute helped me clarify what I want to do next.

3. What was the best and the most surprising part about coaching?

I was stuck, unsure of my path, until Ute guided me through a simple visualization. 'Close your eyes,' she said, 'and imagine your ideal job.' What followed was nothing short of a revelation. The exercise wasn't just about picturing a career; it was about connecting with my deepest desires. It was like finally turning on the lights in a dark room. I saw what truly resonated with me: creating beautifully curated events. The 'shoulds' and 'coulds' faded away, replaced by a clear, undeniable sense of purpose. It was beautiful because it wasn't just about finding a job; it was about finding my authentic self.

4. What doubts/assumptions did you have about coaching before you started and how did that change? â€‹

I did not really know what to expect, to be honest. I read lots of self-help books but coaching is like having a self-help book tailor-made to your needs.

5.  If you were to recommend coaching with me to your best friend, what would you say?

I would say that if you are bit lost, don't know what to do with your life, you are looking to change career, or you just unhappy with your job situation, Ute is the right person to talk to. She is kind, listens to you, doesn't force you and helps you in a nurturing way. She as a mother also understands the challenges of motherhood.

1. What drew you to coaching in the first place?

I was feeling lost about the direction I was heading in and wanted to find a new one. I needed clarity about what I wanted and some goals to aim for.

2. What was your life like before you started coaching?

It was a terrible mess of uncertainty about who I was or who I was becoming. I had a lot of negative thoughts and my self-esteem was declining.

3. What is your life like now and what has been the biggest change?

I see myself with a different outlook now, more positive and more constructive. I feel less like a victim and more like the driving force in my own life. I am also much kinder to myself and I think less catastrophically

4. What was the best or most surprising part about coaching?

Having you show up for me every month, checking in on my progress, and knowing you were there on my journey made me feel less alone. I also felt understood, which was very important. You helped me see that I have already achieved a lot and that I will continue to do so.

6. If you were to recommend coaching with me to your best friend, what would you say?

I recommend you to people all the time who face similar challenges. I would say that you help guide life into a kinder, smarter direction and you make everything feel like it is going to be okay.

7. What doubts or assumptions did you have about coaching and how did they change?

I did not have many expectations, and I did not think my outlook or vision would change. But it did.

8. What will you do differently now after this coaching experience?

I look at my situation from a different perspective and try to find constructive solutions without drama, crisis or stress. I often think, “What would Ute say?” Even though you do not give much direct advice, your questions help me reach my own answers and see things with new eyes.

Ute is a phenomenal coach and my sessions with her have helped me gain clarity and understand what my true values are. When I first started my coaching journey I felt a bit lost and torn in all different directions but Ute helped me discover the power of pausing, resting and reflecting - harnessing these tools have allowed me to live more consciously and prioritise my commitments in a way that works best for me. Thanks to Ute, I now approach the personal and work spheres of my life from a place of love rather than with the self critical and perfectionist lenses I wore too often!

Having worked with Ute during our hospital rotations in the past, I know how much care and attention she puts into anything she does. Ute is a dedicated and compassionate coach and I highly recommend her to anyone thinking about coaching!
